Usk River Pilgrimage
Usk River Pilgrimage
Next leg from Glanusk Park to Talybont-on-Usk - dates to be confirmed
Previous leg was Clytha to Glanusk - you can read about it here
"Sunday was a truly magical day. Thank you for making it happen" - participant on the Abergavenny to Glanusk leg
We have walked the Usk River from the Bristol Channel up to, and around, Usk, taking the energy from the sea upstream. We continued from Clytha to Glanusk recently and will be continuing soon. You can read an article about the journey so far here - this river pilgrimage is part of the Gatekeeper Trust's Wheel of Life Project - the Usk River falls within the Pisces segment of the British Zodiac.
We will be meeting near at Glanusk (details will follow) at 10.00am for a 10.30am. We walk along the River Usk to Talybont and possibly another stretch on the following day. There will be car ferries available.
You will need to bring a packed lunch and flask although we often find an eaterie on the way, and wear appropriate clothing for the weather. We also often book accommodation if we are walking over a weekend.
PLEASE LET US KNOW IF YOU'RE COMING and for more details - email us here.
We ask for a voluntary contribution of £10 or more towards costs - please donate below or on the day.
